Twitch Bot End User License Agreement (EULA)

Data Collection

This bot collects the following user data during interactions:

• Information provided by Twitch through USERSTATE info
• Usage statistics (frequency of commands, command parameters)
• Additional information specified in the following JSON structure:

How is this info used?

Data Use

The collected data will be used to improve the bot's functionality and user experience. This includes sending data to the following services:

• OpenAI services for generating smart replies based on user interactions.
• Google's YouTube API for processing song requests and fetching video details.
• Pronouns.page API to retrieve and display user pronouns.

Only messages directed at the bot, or command messages (such as !request) are processed and stored temporarily for context retention. Your data will not be shared with third parties outside of these services without your direct consent.

Data Retention

Your data will be retained for as long as necessary to provide the bot's services and is stored on a local server to which only the bot owner has access. No other person can access this data. Temporary data such as the last ~50 messages (collective, per stream) directed at the bot is stored solely for context retention purposes. You may request deletion of your data by contacting @DMCroww on Twitch, Discord, or X (formely Twitter).

Agreement

By interacting with the chatbot in any way, you agree to the following:

• Your data may be collected and used as outlined above, including data sent to OpenAI services for generating smart replies.

If you do not agree with these terms, you should refrain from interacting with the chatbot. Without agreement, only basic information provided by parsing Twitch USERSTATE (e.g., username, chat color) will be saved.
